Established in 2002, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) evolved from the Faculty of Medicine at Can Tho University (founded 1979). As the only government medical university currently accepting international students in Vietnam, CTUMP holds a unique position.
Located in the heart of the Mekong Delta region on a sprawling 40-hectare campus, CTUMP has grown to become a premier medical education institution with 600+ Indian students and an excellent safety record.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission
➤ High School Diploma or equivalent
➤ For Vietnamese-taught programs, students must demonstrate proficiency in Vietnamese or complete a preparatory language course.
➤ For English-taught programs (if available), proof of English proficiency, such as IELTS (5.5 or above) or TOEFL (500 PBT or 61 iBT), is required
➤ International students may be exempt from the exam if they have equivalent qualifications, such as SAT/ACT scores
➤ Passport
➤ Health Certificate showing good health status
➤ Personal Statement or Statement of Purpose
